This is a fabulous family!
I’ve been friends with Cynthia for about 7 years. We met when we had just our little girls and through the years our families grew and so did our friendship. Cynthia has great style, but like a lot of women, she doubts herself so she asked me to come over and help her decide on her clothing for her portraits. I had so much fun helping her plan and gather all the pieces together. I even suggested some yellow bow ties … and she came through by making them herself! I even ran to Target for her to get something for baby girl.

LOVE your family Cynthia!
My husband is one of those people that I struggle to buy something for … mainly for the reason that he purchases whatever he wants. He doesn’t really “wait” on justifying purchases for himself. Lucky guy haha. So this past Christmas, along with a few white-t’s, workout gear and a nice sweater … I got him something that he couldn’t get himself. I talked his mom into a 10 min session and captured something special for her and for her children and grandchildren.
The next time you have someone difficult to shop for … why not book a session? They may not even realize they want one but once it’s over and they have their images … they will be so glad that they got them! Trust me.
The year has come to a close.
I’m so glad that my family and I made it through another year of monthly family portraits. I told my family this would be my last year, but my oldest said … “Mommy, but we love it”. Well, that just gave me the energy I needed to keep going for at least one more year. I think they just enjoy the treat they get to have after the session. haha.
I even got in to a few photos. AND … it does feel uncomfortable to share … but I’m doing it anyways. It’s going to be a new year … and lots more of me, as I take on a challenge to do some self-portraits for 2014.
Happy NEW YEAR friends!
what a difference a year makes!
LOVE THEM to PIECES.
Now go on and follow this link to my fabulous friend Suzanne O’Brien’s family. She’s kept up all year too and it has been fabulous watching her family!
I had a great time photographing this beautiful couple as they were so close to welcoming their baby girl. Dad contacted me about a session and was so sweet and so into their session. As you will see … mom and dad were up for trying out anything and going along with some of my ideas. What made this session so fun was that they really LOVE each other and it is so evident in these portraits.
When I received this message from them… it made me so happy that I’m able to do what I LOVE.
“I want to Thank-you so much for the shoot on Sunday. Not only did we have a great time, I think we also captured some magical shots! Alicia and I were very comfortable, and are happy you were able to take our pictures.” – Boone Family
